There was once an old woman.

    Composition
There was once an old woman. Her name was Judy Berry. She had a grandson named Barney. He used to be employed on Saturday by a man named Abe Royan who paid him one shilling and sixpence for the day. Barney used to save up his earnings by hiding it in different holes in the wall of the old cottage where he and his Grandmother lived. On one occasion Judy noticed Barney hiding something in the wall as he was going out to attend Mass on Sunday. When Barney arrived home he looked to see if his money was still there. But to his dismay it had disappeared he passed on into the house an inquired if his dinner was near ready and old Judy being a bit deaf replied the she had not seen Barney's one shilling and sixpence atall atall.
