    he would. But he went and told the Priest. The Priest told him to go, as the "Good People" could do him no harm if he carried his beads with him, well he went.
    Sure enough he saw his wife coming through the gap and all the fairies in front of her and she called to him to catch her and so he did, but the fairies told him to look around and see what was behind him and he forgot what the little man told him and turned around. When he looked back his wife was gone, so from that day to this he never saw her again.
