    Laurence O Toole Strathnakelly makes baskets still. He does not make many of them he gets the switches in Coolattin wood. He plaits long switches together. He makes nice little baskets.

    There was a man living in Tinahely by the name of Traynor. He used to make the basket out of long switches. He used to make potato baskets and clothes baskets. He used to go around selling them. He got the switches in a wood. Basket making is carried on still be a man named Hilliard that lives a short distance outside Tinahely, and was carried on by a man named Murphy that used to live in Ballyshongue. He used to make them out of switches, and he used to plait them. He used to make potato baskets.
