In the townsland of Coolroe in the parish of Coolfancy there is a field caled "Johns Meadow." It is called that name because a man named John Mulhall owned the field. When this man died the people called it "John's Meadow." It is called John's Meadow still. People by the name of Byrne's own it now. The house on it fell then it was built again.
There is a field near Tinahely in the parish of Killavaney called Briens field," because people of that name lived on it long ago. When they died the house fell. It is still called Briens field.
