    It is supposed to be a "ratheen" now.
    Kilahurler: There was also a graveyard in Kilahurler.The headstones can be seen still but the writing on them is blotted out. It is on Mr Merrigan's land, and it is said the cattle never break in though the ditches are very low.

  2. When there is a marriage around here it is a custom that some people go around blowing horns and beating drums the night before the wedding. They also throw sacks down the chimneys of the houses. They used to drive side carts to the Chapel and there would be twenty or thirty men on horse backs riding in front of them and
