    When there are flying ants on the road it foretells rain. If the sea is rough and appears green, a storm is coming. When the lake appears calm and shadows of houses, trees, etc. are plainly seen in it, we usually have rain.
    If the smoke from a chimney goes up straight it foretells good weather, but if the smoke is blown down to the ground rain can be expected. If the flames of a fire appear blue we usually have storm.
