- My home district is Belcoo. There are thirty two families living in my home district, and about one hundred and thirty people. Most of the houses are slated.
There is only one thatched house. There are no ruins in the district. Some emigrated to America years ago, others went to England and Scotland last year.
The old people can tell lots of stories in English. The fields round my home are very hilly. There is a lake called Lough Mac Nean near, and a big mountain called Belmore. The scenery round Belcoo is beautiful, especially in the summer. There are two plantations(continues on next page)- Collector
