- Paddy the Irishman and Mike were twins and they were very much like each other. Paddy stole money and was taken before a very cross king. The king was about to send him to jail when Paddy asked for pardon. The king said he would let him go if he would answer three questions. Pat said he would. The king asked him what weight is the moon?
How many stars in the sky and what am I thinking of.
Pat went home and told the story to Mike. Mike went next day to the king and he thought it was Paddy. What weight is the moon? ''A hundred weight'' said Mike. ''Aren't there four quarters in it.'' '' That's good '' said the king. ''Now how many stars in the sky?''
''Twenty million'' said Mike and if you don't believe me go out and count them''.
'' Well'' said the king ''What am I thinking of?''
''Begorra'' said Mike
