- There is a well in Money. (Butlersbridge Co Cavan) in a field belonging to Bernard Emms. It is a short distance from the road. Convenient to it are a graveyard and the ruins of an Old Abbey. This well is known as St Brigid's well. The well is surrounded by three whitethorn bushes. At the present time there is a cement pass leading to the well. The water in this well is very good and no matter how dry the summer may be the well is always overflowing. People come a good distance to it for water. It is not known if pilgrimages were ever made to this well.
