wash your feet in is suppose to be a cure for other peoples warts. There are boots repaired in this district. "James Lynch" of Drumeska, and "Jack Lynch" of Moher repairs boots. "John Mallon" makes his own boots and he repairs others, his father made new boots and when he died his son started. There used to be a man in Mullamagavan making clogs and they called him "Cloggy Carlon", but he is gone out of there now. Before clogs or boots were made the people used to tie sheep skins or cows hides round their feet. There was a man in Mullamagavan his name was "Brian Mór" and he used to kill horses and make leather of their skin.
