    Chin cough or Whooping cough is supposed to be cured by drinking milk left over by a ferret, referred to as "ferret's leavings".
    Dirty Mouth- A girl who never saw her father is supposed to have the cure of the dirty mouth. She blows her breath three times on the diseased tongue.
    Warts- Warts may be cured by the application of a fasting "spit" on three successive mornings.
    Warts may also be cured by rubbing the first snail met with to the warts on going out early in the morning.
    Sting of Nettle- Rub a dock leaf into the sting and the pain ceases.
    Thorn in the hand or foot may be drawn by the application of Fox's tongue.
    Bacon applied is also good. The bacon is left on for a few days.
