    went another piece, they found out that it was the tin of the lace hopping on the shoe.
    Some centuries ago "dead coaches" were seen and coaches drawn by four horses around the fairy-fort.
    "Coaches" we're seen by Jack Byres, going up the lane which leads to Patrick Smith's with lights and drawn by four horses. These coaches were often seen going next the fort, going up in big blazes and vanishing.
    A few years ago a ghost was made to frighten some men coming from dances in Asan Hall. This ghost was put up at the bridge beside Andrew Smith's lane. A stick was stuck in the ground along the road with a sheet thrown over it, and a turnip scouped out with two holes for the eyes, and two other holes for the mouth and nose. A candle was
