  1. There was a strange happening in Gola
    Mick Cooney lived with his nephews who were cattle jobbers.
    He did the house keeping and on one day they being away in the fair a strange pig came to the street Mick went out to get the pig into the sty because he had a litter of pigs in the sty. The pig went in the direction of Mat Doud's He followed Mat and his wife put the pig in a bag and gave him to Mick. He carried him home and when he reached the house he was resting on the ditch and died.
    The pig got out of the bag
