    Many efforts were made to locate it, but no-one knew the exact place. It is so very ancient now it must be of great value.
    Stories were told of the ghost of Mr Saunderson, wandering about the wood, and it was said he was looking for the hidden treasure. Other stories were that he drove through the wood in a coach with two horses, and some people said he rode a horse.
