    If a person drinks out of Saint Columba's skull on Lock Gowna he would be cured of the toothache. Gooseberry thorns will cure a sty. The seventh son in succession in a family has the cure of the ringworm. Children who's father died before they were born have a cure for thrush.
    Ferrets leavings are supposed to cure the Whooping-cough. A frog boiled in new milk is good for the kidneys.
