  1. There is a lake about ten miles from my home named Lough Sheelen.
    Every seven years there is always someone drowned. In 1930 there were two boys drowned one went out to swim but he was not long in the water until he began to sink, so the other boy went out to rescue him and the both were drowned.
    In 1923 a clergyman was drowned also.
    In 1916 a school master and his school children went to it for a picnic, and the master took the children for a sail in a boat and they all were drowned.
