    The patient comes and asks for God's sake to give some of the leavings of the breakfast and when the sick children got it they began to recover. The leaving after ferrets is also a cure.
    The mumps is cured by putting a winkers on the person who has it and leading them round the pig sty three times and saying Muckla Muckla sin tiga do leacna. A man to lead woman and vise versa.
    The stye on the eye is cured by sticking nine gooseberry thorns and throwing away the last one.
    The seventh son or daughter has the cure of "running worm", if when they are born a worm is put in the hand till it dies and when they rub their hand on they sore it is cured. Conaty Munterconnaught has it.
    The cure of the yellow jaundice is a whole lot of worms boiled in sweet milk. Pat Brady Barconey has this cure.
