    Lackey's Stream is a small stream dividing the townlands of Cormeen and ClonKeefy. It flows by a field, now in Mrs [?]Colglure's possession, where a family lived long ago of the name Lackey. From this family the field and the Stream go the name Lackey.
    Hell Street is the name given to a field in Mr. Tom Kavanagh's farm. In long gone by years three or four families lived here in a cluster of houses now gone out of recognition. These families both men and women used to frequent the fairs and markets in the neighbouring town of Ballyjamesduff. They generally came home somewhat drunk. and they spent the evening barging, fighting and scolding. An old man in the locality called the place of residents of those quarrelsome people a very appropriate name, Hell Street. The spot has retained the name, Hell Street since.
    The Ghost's Pass is in the property of Tom Kavanagh too, and is near his residence being in one of his farmyard
