    great big wheel on one side of it and was worked by foot. When the wool was spun it was just like what you would get in a shop. Then there were stockings knitted with the wool. The stockings for the men would have to be the length of your arm, because they would shrink.

  2. Long ago people drank out of noggins instead of cups. They were made of wood and had two bands of tin around them. There were also two staves or sometimes more at the top and the people caught those when they wanted to drink out of them. There were two bands on every stave and they were
