    destination he told the people about it, but they only laughed at him. About twelve o'clock that night some of the people set out to see it, and when they did, they turned on their heels and fled.
    Soon after, Andy Flood set out for home, with his pockets full of stones. As he was crossing the same hill he met the dog coming back again; so he hid in a heap of bushes, and when it was passing by he fired some stones at it.
    The dog turned round and walked over to the bushes and looked in, when Mr Flood saw it he let a roar, so the dog passed on, and the man ran home as quickly as he could.
    He told the people that the dog had eyes as big as balloons and hair about four inches long and paws as fat as a horse's leg. So an
