    It is not very old, we have it about three years now. The various parts of the churn are, the led, the churn cup, and the churn dash.
    Butter is made about twice a week, in Winter and Summer. The women of the house generally do the churning. If a stranger chances to come in, when we are churning he generally gives a hand. This is sometimes called "a brash."
    It takes from a half an hour to an hour to do a churn-ing, according to the season of the year and the amount of cream to be churned.
    The churning is generally done by hand but some people have churns that are worked
