- We have a three cow churn at home. It is 39 ins. in length, and 72 ins in breath at the top and bottom. About three or four years we have this churn. It is the same as our last one. There are three parts in it, the dash, the lid, and the churn itself. We churn twice a week at all times of the year. All help at the churning. If a stranger comes to the dairy door when we are churning I often heard it said to them to take a brash least they would bring the butter with them.
