   We have a churn at home. It is a barrel churn. It is about four feet high. We have it for the past four years. We churn twice a week in the Summer time and once a week in the Winter time. We have a separator at home and we separate every night and morning. The cream ripens quicker in the Summer time than in the Winter time.

   In Summer milk is churned twice a week and the churning is done by a man if possible. He moves the dash up and down quickly. Anyone coming at in that time takes a brash at the churn in case they had the evil
