- Boxty Bread
There are various kinds of bread. The most common in this country is soda bread. Long ago a oaten meal bread was eaten in every house.
Boxty was made from raw and boiled potatoes. The raw ones were grated and the boiled ene ones were bruised.
The were put in a linen cloth. The cloth was tied and put into an oven of water and boiled.
