- (continued from previous page)He went around to the houses and collected the rent. He had to pay no rent himself. He had a freehold at the town of Cavan.
- The Landlord that was here about fifty years ago was Samuel Sanderson. He lived near Clover Hill. He was a Protestant. The people paid their rent to him. He had a rent warner named Paddy Hynes who lived near Killeeter Bog. This man came around to tell the people that the Landlord was coming around to gather their rent.
