    Burn

    Sore eyes
    Bathe the eyes in bog water.
    Blisters on horse
    When horses have blisters on them people pare the bark off an oak tree and boil the bark, and rub the boiled bark on the horses breast.
    Stye of the eye
    When people got styes on their eyes they used to throw a thorn across their shoulder, in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, and the stye would disappear.
