- The farm animals are :- Horses, cows, pigs, calves, sheep, cats and dogs. The cows names are :- White-head, long legs and short horns. The cow house is called a byre. The floor of the cow house
- Early to bed and early to rise is the way to be healthy, wealthy and wise. The longer you live the more you will know. Doing nothing is doing wrong. Time and tide wait for no man.
- There are about one hundred and one people in my home district. Some houses are thatched and other slaited.(continues on next page)
