  1. Festival Customs
    IN most districts in Ireland many feasts that occur throughout the year are observed in a very special manner. There are some very ancient customer suited to the different Festivals and in every part of Ireland these feasts are kept in the good old Irish style. On Christmas Eve the youngest child in the house is supposed to light a big wax candle and place it in the window and in no house is the door locked on that night. The young children of the house are sent to bed early on Christmas Eve in preparation for Santa Claus
