- Local Happenings
There are some local happenings which occurred in the district. It was in the year 1898 a terrible disaster too place. It was called the 'Kings Murder'. He killed his wife and his mother in law. Two of his children died of want. King himself was hung.
The people whom he killed were living in a small thatched house along the road. He was not living with them. They did not agree. One night when they were asleep he came and killed them. They had the door shut. He came in on the window. He killed the wit a spade. The people whom he killed were three days in(continues on next page)- Collector
