    old schools to be seen yet, there is one down in Lower Nolagh It was night school that used to be taught there. The schools are all slated nowadays. It was Master Michael Clarke and Miss Mary Anne Rogers that taught in that school. There was a very good attendance at it. It was closed down about the year 1928. there was another old school in Bracklion. Mr Campbell taught in it. Mr Clark has a carpenter's shop where the old school was.
    There was only one fire in those old schools. There was no coal burned in those old schools. The boys and girls who attended the school brought a turf or a sod or a block of a stick with them in the morning. There were no stoves in those old schools. It was a grate they used. There were only five seats in the school down in lower Nolagh. There were three windows on the front of it.
