    The Vale of Sweet Avoca, and the River Shannon's view.
    The hills around Killarney and scenes round Dublin Bay.
    Are only simple places, when compared to Lough-in-lea.
    When its lovely elevation and view that's something grand,
    You can see the Hill of Tarra and round by Lavey Strand,
    The ships of Dundalk Harbour [?] them bathing out at Bray,
    And the Hills of Connemara from the Top of Loughi-n-lea.
    While round its lovely valley's you find nature at its best.
    Some gay young lads and lasses coming there to take a rest,
    You'll always find true lovers there not matter what they say,
    And if you want a sweetheart just come round to Lough-in-lea.
    There you'll find some charming damsels that's blooming ni their [?]
    And if that don't suit the visitors, there is but few has been.
    You most gently pop the question, and not make much delay,
    For brainless is a pleasure when you come to Lough-in-lea,
    They always treat the stranger with the luxuries of home, and give you information should you feel inclined to roam,
    For all European countries, and throughout America,
    Is highly represented from around the Lough-in-lea,
    Should you board the big Cunarder, near the famous C. Cork,
