    Cure for Insect Bites.
    Apply strong liquid Ammonia, or a strong solution of Washing Soda, or a teaspoonful of Epsom Salts dissolved in one ounce of water. Do not rub the spot where stung.
    Cure for Mad Dog Bite
    Tie cord tight above wound, suck wound, cauterize with caustic or white hot iron.
    Cure for Sunstroke
    Loosen clothing, get patient into shade and apply ice to head.
    Cure for Scratch or Slight Wound
    Do not wash a scratch or a slight wound with soap and water, but apply Iodine, which has powerful antiseptic properties, at once all over the wound and allow it to dry. Iodine sterilizes the wound and makes dirt harmless.
