  1. Once when men were digging potatoes near a fort it was coming near dark and they had to gather them before night. The man were sitting in the field taking their tea and three fairies dressed in red came out from the fort and picked some of the potatoes and went back into the fort again. The men were frightened and went back to gather the potatoes, but when they went back the potatoes were all there.
