  1. For generations past, a ghost, known as "the Rector" is said to have been seen by several noctturnal travellers in the Castle Demesne Bailieboro. He is described as a tall aristocratic looking gentleman, wearing dress suit and tall hat. He always took the same path and many people declared that they had seen him.
    On several nights a Bailieborough man was aroused from his sleep by his horses plunging madly through the yard attached to his premises. On going out to investigate, he found
