  1. Morning Offering
O my God. I offer Thee this day.
All I shall do, think or say.
Uniting it with what was done,
On earth, with Jesus Christ His only son.
I make these offerings for those souls
Whom Lord’s own mother would release
That she may place them by her son,
    In everlasting rest and peace.
O Mary bless Thy child today
And guide me on my heavenly way
    St Joseph Pray for me
Very Revd Luke Carroll PP Mullagh, wrote it down for my mother about the year 1880, when he was a curate in Shercock, and told her to teach it to the school children.
Transcribed by a member of our volunteer transcription project.
