The blackbird and the thrush build in bushes. They build with mud and sticks and moss. They lay four eggs of a blue colour. The cuckoo builds no nest of her own she lays her eggs in another bird's nest . Every bird hatches her eggs for three weeks.
It is said that if boys rob a birds nest the bird will curse them. When the swallows fly very low it is supposed to be a sign of rain. When the crows fly in crowds together it is a sign of rain and when the curlew cries it is also a sign of rain.
