  1. The principal weeds which grow in this district are Nettles, Rag weed, Chicken Weed, Thistles, Dock Weed, Posies, Colts Foot, Day Nettle. Thistles Dock Weed, and Rag Weed are the most harmful weeds growing on the land because they spread very rapidly. All these three weeds are found growing on good land.
Colts Foot, Chicken Weed, Day nettle, and Posies are found growing on poor land. Another very bad weed common in this district is Scutch Weed. This is a kind of bad grass with a long white jointed root which spreads very rapidly and impoverishes the soil.
