And the daisy clad vales that familiar have grown,
Where each mossy dell seams by some mystic spell
To bind the fond heart to its dear native home.
VIII
One spot yet in store I shall often thing o'er,
When on some foreign strand a stranger I roam.
I shall often look back to you old beaten track,
Where I've hied to the dance on the braes of (Ardmore) Armone.
IX
Now these scenes are all over and I'll be a rover
To seek a new home in the land of the free,
With courage undaunted to cross the Atlantic
Where friends are awaiting and watching for me.

On the banks of Lake Erie a kind hearted dearie
Is longing to cheer me on life's stormy sea,
To spread out out sail there to some happy gale,
And seek for dame fortune where 'er she may be.

Now, my friends and old neighbours, who have come to convey me.
