Now the time is in motion, just bound for the ocean,
While the last parting glance makes my bosom to swell,
So adieu evermore, to the sweet Shamrock shore,
And "yon green hills of Latchey "a long fare you well. - Kneading the Dough.
In brown linen apron she stood in the kitchen;
He sleeves were rolled up, and her cheeks all aglow.
Her hair was coiled neatly, while I indiscreetly,
Stood watching while Nancy was kneading the dough.None could be neater, or blither, or sweeter,
Or hum a sweet song so delightfully low.
So graceful and slender, true-hearted and tender;
Was my charming sweet Nancy, while kneading the dough.At last, when she turned from the pan to the dresser,
She espied me , and blushing said shyly, "Please go,
Or my bread I'll be spoiling in spite of my toiling
If you stay here and watch while I'm kneading the dough"(continues on next page)
