When a person sees a hare it means good-luck for him.
When a person sees a straw to a hen's tail it is the sign of a visitor.
When a person drops a spoon it is supposed to be a sign of a lady visitor, a knife a gentleman and a fork a disappointment
If a person lets his glove fall he must get someone else to lift it for him, or it would be bad-luck.
It is said that if a person's right hand is itchy it is a sign that he will be shaking hands with strangers, and that if his left hand is itchy he will be getting money.
