    There are the remains of a large fort on the lands now belonging to Philip Lynch
    Mountain Lodge
    Cootehill
    Co Cavan
    Only half of this fort now remains.
    The other half of this fort was removed by the grandfather of the present proprietor.
    Soon after the removal of this half ill luck fell upon them.
