    Tullybrick is Tulach Breac. Although the school is situated in this townland it is called after the old school, This townland means the speckled height.

    Renard = Rath an AIrd is the fort of height situated about one mile from Maghera N.S. gets its name because there is the remains of an old fort on a height in the townland

    Knox = This school - in Tullybrick borders Co. Monaghan
    A number of children from Monaghan attend here -
    The above is a townland convenient. It is "Cnocs" and should really be Cnoca! The townland is a series of "little hills"
