  1. The old local roads are all very narrow.
    The Portruain Road leads through Portruain and Creeny. Where this reaches the main road is another old road going through Grilly and Derry Armuish. This reaches the road at Fener's Gate.
    Another road goes from the Clones - Belturbet Road, past Anderson's house, through the Bog and reaches the Drumalee Road near Drumalee Chapel.
    The road leading past this school is now not in use. It was the old coach road from Cavan to Enniskillen. It reaches the Drumalee Road. The ruins of a house stand along the main Cavan - Clones Road. This belonged to an old Catholic family named Blake and was the stopping place from Cavan to Clones. The coach
