    got very angry and ran out and called upon the sea to drown the boat and all that was in it. The waves rose and the boat sank. The waves rose higher and higher and swallowed up the island and every seven years from that on it rises over the water and it is said it was seen only once after that.
    Once there was a farmer in Rehy and he had a garden of oats near the Shannon. Every morning he used notice the oats was eaten or knocked down. So one night he and another man remained watching in the garden and just at twelve o'clock three white horses and a white foal came in from the strand and began eating the oats. The man caught a clod of earth and threw it, and hit the foal. The foal immediately stood and the man caught her and brought her home and trained her up to work. Every year she had a white foal
