(continued from previous page)one like it again, but one consolation you will have is that anyone of your descendants will never be drowned between Loop Head and Limerick."It is said that at one time St Senan possessed a golden bell which he got from heaven. The story occurred in this way. One day the saint and his brothers disputed over some matters in which they differed. They agreed to pray to God and that he in return would show some sign by which they could discern which of them was right. They knelt apart and prayed fervently and in the course of their prayers the brothers saw a golden bell fall from heaven near St Senan. They ceased to dispute any longer because they knew St Senan was in the right side of disputes always.
