One day a man was out hunting, he was hunting all the day and had walked very far and he was tired as he was returning home in the evening.

One day a man was out hunting, he was hunting all the day and had walked very far and he was tired as he was returning home in the evening. He was so tired that he sat down on the mound of a fort to rest himself. He had a hound with him and he lay down beside him also. They were not long there when an animal the shape of a dog came out of the fort and came over to where the hound was lying.
After some time the hound got up and ran away and the animal that came out of the fort followed him. The man was very much surprised when he saw the animal coming out of the fort. Before he left the fort the animal came back again and disappeared into the fort.
The man went home very much frightened and he told the story to his wife who was very much shocked when she heard it. He found his hound at home before him and he dying. The man went to bed and next morning he felt sick and after some time he died. The hound died also.
