    Once upon a time there lived three boys and their three mother.

    in his bed, and Daniel slept in his mother bed, At the dead of night Hudden and Dudden came to the room and choked Daniel as they thought. Early next morning when Daniel awoke, and found his mother dead, without any noise he clapped her on his back and proceeded to the town just outside the town there was a spring well. Daniel arranged his mother in front of the well just as if she were taking a drink. He went to a public house, and called for two glasses of whiskey and paid the price. He was rather uneasy, and was looking out very often, so the publican inquired what was troubling him Daniel replied he was waiting for his mother who waiting to have a drink at the well outside the town. The publican suggested sending his daughter to hurry her up, and Daniel said his mother was very deaf so he told the little girl to be sure and give her a good shaking. This the little girl did, and however the old lady fell
