Awaiting the morning to dawn,
I think of the years I have spent
Since the drainage it first began.II
It started, I think, in the harvest,

Were flying on axles so swift,
From the dole and free beef at Mc. Kiernan's,
The employment it came as a gift.

Some working with picks and with shovels
