(13) Chilblains:-
Put the chilblains in cool water and then put them to a fire and let them dry at it. - The following animals are kept at home cow, horse, pony, ass, dog, goat, cat. A cow without horns is called a polly cow and some are called after the place they came from. The cowhouse is called the byre. The floor is made of cement and it is called a stand. Cows are tied by means of a chain and there is a bail in the byre also. When a new cow is bought it is tied in the stable by a rope.
