Road and it used to be called Doire Ban, Fitzsiomon's hill comes after it and it used to be called Doire Rúadh. There was a cesh between them made of oak sticks.
Drumbran is situated between Ballyhaise station and Ballyhaise town. It is in Annagh parish. There are fourteen families in it. The most of the houses are thatched. There are two old people over seventy my Grandfather and Frank McEnroe. They have no Irish because they have it all forgotten. There is one old house in ruins and Ellen Dolan lived in it. It is along the lane to Keeny School. A few young people used to go out of every family to every family to America to earn.
